Classes
AddOptions What a caller says about a font it adds to a FontSet, in place of what the file says about itself: the counterpart of the descriptors of a CSS @font-face rule.
AxisTags The tags of the axes the OpenType specification registers.
FontSet The fonts a piece of text can be set in: the fonts installed on the machine, plus the ones added to this set.
NamedVariation A named location in the design space of a variable font, such as Bold Condensed.
Typeface One face of a family: what a TypefaceFamily hands back when it matches a TypefaceQuery. It has no size; the size of text is the caller’s to keep.
TypefaceFamily The faces that share one family name in a FontSet.
TypefaceFormatException The exception thrown when data that was supposed to be a font cannot be read as one.
TypefaceMetrics The vertical dimensions of a Typeface, in design units: whole numbers on the grid the font was drawn on, UnitsPerEm of them to the em.
VariationAxis An axis of a variable font: a way its design varies, with the range of values it covers.
Structs
AxisRange An inclusive range of values along one design axis: the weights, widths or slants a face declares that it covers (the range form of the CSS @font-face descriptors font-weight, font-stretch and font-style: oblique).
AxisSetting A value for one axis of a variable font, such as weight 650: what to ask WithAxes(IEnumerable<AxisSetting>) for.
RuneInterval An inclusive interval of Unicode scalar values: the code points a face is to be used for (CSS unicode-range), or the ones its cmap covers.
ScriptPosition How a font’s designer wants subscripts or superscripts drawn: the size and offset of the OS/2 table’s recommended values.
TypefaceMatch The face a family matched a TypefaceQuery with, and what is still missing from it.
TypefaceQuery What a caller wants from a family: the inputs to CSS Fonts 4 face matching.
Enums
GenericFamily A generic font family: a kind of typeface that each platform has its own answer for, named as CSS Fonts names them.
ScriptPlacement Which raised or lowered position of text a ScriptPosition is asked for.
SyntheticStyle The parts of a requested style that the face a match found does not have, and that a renderer therefore has to fake: bold by emboldening the outlines, italic by shearing them.
