No ligature feature at all.

Common 1

Common ligatures (liga and clig): what font-variant-ligatures: common-ligatures asks for, and what the initial value normal means.

Required 2

Required ligatures (rlig), which are applied whenever the font defines them, whatever the caller asked for, as browsers do.

Discretionary 4

Discretionary ligatures (dlig), which are off unless asked for.

Historical 8

Historical ligatures (hlig), which are off unless asked for.

Contextual 16

Contextual alternates (calt): on by default, and what font-variant-ligatures: no-contextual turns off.

Default 19
