Classes
ColorLine The colours of a gradient and what it does outside them.
ColorPaint A node of the paint graph of a colour glyph (COLR version 1): a fill, a transform, a clip to a glyph’s shape, or a way of combining other nodes. Every node is one of the sealed types that derive from this one, named as the COLR specification names its paint formats.
ColorPalette The colours a colour font’s glyphs are painted with: one or more palettes of the same number of entries (the CPAL table). A colour glyph refers to an entry by index, and the palette in use chooses the colours.
GlyphOutline The shape of one glyph as data: zero or more closed contours of lines and cubic curves, with the y axis up. The coordinates are in font design units, unless the outline was asked for at a size (see OutlineRequest), when they are in pixels.
OutlineContour A closed contour of a glyph: a start point and the segments that lead round to it again.
PaintColrGlyph Paints the whole colour glyph of another base glyph, which is how one colour glyph reuses another.
PaintColrLayers Paints a run of entries of the font’s layer list, in order, each on top of the one before.
PaintComposite Paints one paint over another with a compositing mode.
PaintGlyph Clips another paint to the shape of a glyph.
PaintLinearGradient Fills with a linear gradient along a line, given by three points as the COLR specification defines it.
PaintRadialGradient Fills with a radial gradient between two circles.
PaintSolid Fills with one colour of the palette.
PaintSweepGradient Fills with a sweep (conic) gradient round a centre.
PaintTransform Paints another paint under a transform of the plane.
SvgGlyph The SVG document that draws a glyph in a font with an SVG table.
Structs
Affine2x3 An affine map of the plane: x' = XX*x + XY*y + DX and y' = YX*x + YY*y + DY (the Affine2x3 record of COLR).
ColorClipBox A rectangle in design units that holds everything a colour glyph paints, which the font gives so that a renderer can size a surface or clip to it without walking the glyph’s paint graph. A variable font’s box follows the location of the Typeface it is read from.
ColorLayer One layer of a version 0 colour glyph: a glyph, drawn in one colour of the palette.
ColorStop One colour of a gradient.
EmbeddedBitmap One picture of a glyph from one strike of a font that draws its colour glyphs as bitmaps (CBDT/CBLC or sbix).
OutlinePoint A point in font design units, with the y axis pointing up.
OutlineRequest What a caller wants of an outline: at which size, and how much to fit it to the pixel grid.
OutlineSegment One piece of a contour: a straight line, or a cubic Bezier curve.
Enums
ColorExtend What a gradient does beyond its first and last colour stop (the Extend mode of a COLR colour line).
GridFitting How much a glyph outline is fitted to the pixel grid: whether the font’s own hinting instructions are run, and in which dialect.
