PeachDrawing.Text.Unicode.Emoji
Emoji.Resolve(EmojiMode, int, int) Method
Decides the presentation of one character from the mode a caller asks for and what follows the character.
public static PeachDrawing.Text.Unicode.EmojiPresentation Resolve(PeachDrawing.Text.Unicode.EmojiMode mode, int baseCodepoint, int followingSelector);
Parameters
mode EmojiMode
The mode the caller asks for.
baseCodepoint System.Int32
The character to decide for.
followingSelector System.Int32
The variation selector that directly follows it, or 0 when none does. Anything but U+FE0E and U+FE0F counts as none.
Returns
Remarks
Only a character that can take a variation selector (see IsPresentationParticipant(Rune)) has a preference at all; for any other character the answer is NoPreference, whatever the mode and selector. For one that can, a U+FE0E or U+FE0F right after it always wins, since the text may opt out of what the caller asks for. Otherwise Text and Emoji behave as though that selector followed the character, and Unicode draws a character as emoji when its default is emoji and as text when its default is text. Normal makes no choice, and the order of the font families decides.
