PeachDrawing.Skia
SkiaImageCodec Enum
Which decoder turns an encoded image (PNG, JPEG, ...) into the pixels a SkiaRenderContext draws.
public enum SkiaImageCodec
Fields
PeachImage 0
The shared PeachImage decoder: the same formats and the same pixels as on every other PeachDrawing canvas.
Native 1
Skia’s own codecs, which the platform may accelerate and which keep the decoded image in a form a GPU surface can upload once. A format Skia cannot decode is handed to PeachImage instead unless FallbackToPeachImage is switched off.
Auto 2
The default. An image Skia has a codec for is kept as its encoded bytes and decoded by Skia on first use, on a GPU surface straight into the texture it uploads (the pixels are not kept as managed memory); any other image, and any image with an orientation stored in its metadata, is decoded by PeachImage. Pixels can differ slightly from PeachImage’s (JPEG decoders round differently; Skia’s codecs keep a colour profile that PeachImage ignores), and an image whose data is damaged past its header draws nothing instead of failing to load.
