PdfGenerateConfig.TextStemDarkening Property
Whether hinted text that PeachPDF draws into a bitmap is also made a little heavier at its stems, when its font has CFF outlines. Defaults to false. It has an effect only where TextHinting is not None.

Remarks
Thin stems of small text tend to look lighter than the designer intended once they are anti-aliased; this is the compensation of Adobe’s CFF engine for that, which FreeType calls stem darkening and also leaves off by default. It thickens the thinnest stems the most, and does nothing for stems more than about two and a third pixels wide. It applies to fonts with CFF outlines only (a TrueType font is unchanged), and never to the PDF’s own vector text.
